Returns & Refunds
We hope that you are happy with your order, but if for some reason you are not, below are the steps to return a product.
Note: Goods must be returned within 14 days of customer receipt.
STEP 1: Simply fill in our contact form through the Contact section with your order number.
Please be aware that all items must be returned unused, with their authentic labels and in their original packaging. We may not accept the return if the items are not in a condition to be resold. Any promotional gifts received with your purchase (such as a free sample or free product) must also be returned.
* If the goods you received have been tailored to your needs or have been personalised, your right to return them does not apply. Goods that may deteriorate or expire rapidly, or which are not suitable for return due to health protection and hygiene purposes, will most likely not be accepted if unsealed after delivery.
STEP 2: You will then be contacted by a member of our team within 48 hours to organise the return of your goods.
You will receive a prepaid return label via email which you can use at your local post office or through a scheduled pick-up of your package. As we are not yet operating at physical branches, any other method of return will be unacceptable and not compensated by Du Beurre.
STEP 3: Package your return item in the original DU BEURRE packaging, and in a well-protected envelope or box to prevent damage in transit.
Please note that we only become responsible for your parcel once it has been received by us, so ensure you receive proof of postage and/or delivery. Items lost in transit will not be considered as returned and will most likely not be exchanged or refunded. Customers intending to return fragrance items should ensure they adhere to guidelines provided by your courier (e.g. Royal Mail) as in regards to such.
After the return:
All returned goods will be examined upon receipt. If the good(s) show signs of undeniable or unreasonable use, we will not issue a full refund in which case you will be notified via email of the refundable amount. Alternatively, you could decide that the item be returned to you for free.
Your refund:
Once we have processed your return, our customer service will contact you via e-mail. Your payment for the goods will be refunded by Du Beurre via the original payment method. If a standard shipping option was used at initial purchase, it will also be refunded, however, premium shipping options will be excluded from the refund. You will receive your refund within 14 days after we have received the goods.
As a brand, we take our customers' security very seriously, therefore, under the suspicion of any fraudulent activity, we will contact you via email or telephone.
